I've been in business full-time for 35 years both building reproductions and conserving antique furniture. I was an cabinetmaking apprentice for five years at the Margolis Shop in Hartford, CT from 1968-1972. Much of the wood and veneer that I use in my furniture is of high quality, century-old stock that I purchased years ago from several retired cabinetmakers and established cabinetmaking shops.
