Book cases are also fun to build. Most requests have been for cabinets with book storage on top and hidden storage below; makes sense, because who wants to get on his knees to find a book at floor level? While book case functionality is pretty straightforward there is ample room to be creative with doors, drawers, glass, lights, and even metal.
